“On check in I had to join the bar queue which wasn't great. There was no hairdryer in the room. The room was a little tired looking. However, the staff are great, the pub is really well presented and the food is first class. The negatives were small compared to the positives. We had a great stay and would go back in a flash.”

“My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...
