The historic hotel is being remodeled, and my room had a nicely updated bathroom. Good tile work around an what seems to be the original enamel bathtub. The room has not much space around the two double beds, but it is clean, and I found it comfortable.

Not many options in Holyoke

The Burge seems to be a historic hotel with a lot of rehab going on. In general, the hotel was pretty torn up with no amenities. It could be a beautiful hotel if the work is completed.

this property needs condemning. The place is filthy. place is ancient. no hot water. beds from 1920. bathroom has mold. unusable tv. no one to complain to---the key was in the opening room---no person at all -- ever. remember the shining hotel---this is a close second. they ought to have paid me to stay there. really---never take a reservation for this hotel.
