Lovely Inn in the middle of nowhere next to our favorite restaurant/cafe in all of Iceland. Staff was amazing and truly cares about their guests. Excellent breakfast too :)

Breathtaking location

This inn is located in an absolutely gorgeous area of the Westfjords that will take your breath away. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Room was very nice. The staff were very accommodating to our schedule change and helped make our trip stressfree and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again

A hot tub with a mountain view, a delicious breakfast, beautiful grounds and convenient check-in are real bonuses. All was as advertised. Anna was especially accommodating, offering and sharing her homemade cakes and jams at breakfast. Highly recommend and would love to stay there again.

We loved Holt Inn! It has a unique history and wonderful hosts and owner. The room was just right and the inn itself has a large lounge to relax in. The town of Flateyri is close by where we had a great dinner at the local pub called Vagninn. Definitely recommend both Holt Inn and Vagninn!

We loved the family atmosphere and hospitality. Clean rooms , nice and bright very comfortable beds , use of fridge and microwave . Loved the hot tub through a path in a wooded area , great even in the rain . Even a piano to play

This is an extraordinary, small, fantastic place in the middle of nowhere, in one of the most beautiful settings you can imagine. Very personal service, warm, friendly. If you value quiet isolation in a spectacular Icelandic fjord, this is the place for you. Can't wait to go back!

Super comfortable stay in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The people who checked me in and out were very friendly and made me feel welcome. I definitely appreciated the private bathroom although it could easily get a bit messy on the floor.

Lovely place with perfect service

As we enter the place we felt a warm welcoming. The staff was pleasent, there is a hot coffee all day long for the guests. The dinner and the breakfast are great and there is a warm pool and hot spring which are available for the guests (for a low price). We recommend the place very much!

The holt inn was by far the best place I stayed during my 12 days in Iceland. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was great. The views from the property are like something out of a postcard. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Iceland.

Wonderful owners who are eager to share the history of the property. The hotel is located in the most beautiful place I have ever seen. The fjords are breathtaking. I would love to go back there one day.

A truly gorgeous setting and a marvelous staff make the Holt Inn a must for anyone visiting Westfjords in Iceland. A delightful breakfast starts the day off right, and the outdoor hot tub (with cozy shower and changing room) over looking the fjord provides a great night cap—even if the sun never sets! If we ever make it back to Iceland, a stop at the Holt Inn will definitely be on our itinerary. Be sure the visit the long wooden pier down the road for a wonderful beach experience.
