“Lovely old building with lots of history , well situated in the heart of Ledbury so close to shops , restaurants , pubs etc . Staff were very friendly and helpful . We had an evening meal which was enjoyable and service was excellent. Great choice for breakfast and once again the service was good and efficient. The room was adequate , bed was comfortable and linen clean . It was quirky as befitting a 500 year old property with sloping floors . Bathroom was small as was the shower but that’s to...

5. Harewood End Inn

Hereford

“This Inn is not quite everything it was built up to be in previous reviews but still a good value choice. Location-wise it is well situated for access to the surrounding towns, particularly Hereford, though one should note that it sits right on the main road and this does lead to quite some road noise until late at night and from early in the morning. A warm welcome from the staff on arrival and then later for a meal in the bar/restaurant. Very handy for all Ledbury has to offer and walking distance of the wide array of sights, shops, pubs restaurants, take aways and everything you could need/ want. Wandered and enjoyed several of the local hostelries and beers with welcoming locals. Returned to the Seven Stars and...

“Beautiful setting right on the river with a very friendly staff team and clean and well appointed rooms. It’s not luxurious but everything is thought through and it’s clean. Mattress on the bed was a bit worn - I could feel the springs a bit, so that could do with a replacement but it was a generally really comfortable and relaxed stay. Food was very good - very nice cooked breakfast and I had one evening meal which was very generous. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable and the staff...
