The county does a great job taking care of the beachs and board walk around the resort ,police presence keeps all in order !

The location is ideal for not renting a car. Easy walking distance to restaurants on the boardwalk. We felt very safe with police patrolling on the beach and the boardwalk. If you have small children that you try and put down before 10 pm it will be difficult here. The live music is very loud and during our stay the Adult Pool hosted a private event that was extremely loud until midnight. The staff during the week was wonderful, the Beach Staff during the weekend was not. You could tell the weekend had hit on Friday morning with the locals setting up in front of the designated Margaritaville beach chair/umbrella section. The whole atmosphere changed Friday and Saturday. I would vacation here again but only Sunday-Thursday.
