The hotel is more than 20 km (not 7.8 km as described, at least not at the moment) away from the airport and the commute between the airport and the hotel takes 30 min. The staff and the shuttle bus driver are great. For overnight stay waiting for next day flight, it’s not a bad option in term of price.

The property itself is situated in an industrial area of Shanghai, not in the downtown area, as listed in the location area. The property itself is nice, clean and comfortable. It is also quiet, except for an occasional beep of a car horn from the main street. The room my wife and I stayed in, was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful, but I needed a translator to help communicate what I needed. Though my wife is Chinese, it helped that she was able to talk to the staff. The only thing I didn't like was that the destinations to visit on the hotel description that some of the attractions listed, state that they are 20 minutes away, but are actually more than that. If you are heading to the actual financial district and go to The Bund, it will take about 45 minutes to get there. Even though the hotel was located far from these attractions, it still was a pleasant place to stay. I highly recommend this hotel.
