10/10 stay. Check in was so easy and fast. The friendliest staff!! Our room was so clean and comfortable. The view from our room was beautiful. Loved being able to walk to the cafe in the hotel. Vestrahorn and the Viking village being right beside to explore that morning was so convenient. Breakfast was included and was also wonderful. No complaints at all. Would definitely recommend!!

This was a nice clean room with plenty of space. It did have s nice view. Bathroom was clean and big, beds were comfy. Only thing we didn't like was the door rattled all night from the wind and didn't feel very secure.

Staff is very helpful and friendly, one of them is even practicing mandarin which made our party feel welcomed. He helped us load our luggage back into the car after realizing we have to drive a short distance to the actual lodging (not at the main building). The room worked for three people and heater warmed the place well. Free tickets to the grounds - the beach was beautiful to take pictures at in nice weather. We got lucky. Viking Village is an old film set that I enjoyed walking through. Standard Icelandic breakfast buffet. We were happy with our stay!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were basic but clean and very comfortable. A simple breakfast was also included. There is a cafe on site selling soup and panini’s but it closes at 5pm so wee went into nearby Hofn for dinner both days which was only 15 mins in the car. It’s a superb location for enjoying the beach and mountains.
