My partner and I were passing thru and stayed here for one evening. It was easy to find, helpful staff that have greeted us on our arrival. If you are going to be late to your check in let them know in advance and I’m sure they can accommodate you with easy instructions. The property was clean, our room was comfortable, private bathroom is always a plus. Breakfast was also a plus, it’s simple but it’s perfect to get the day going for adventures. If you have a vehicle there are also dining options in the area. It was a great stay and recommend it to anyone that is considering. Thank you Milk Factory for the wonderful stay!

For the price, excellent place. The room was large, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was on par with breakfast I have had at more expensive hotels. Coffee machine is great a d they let you take away tea/coffee. We checked in very late and the key was available easily. Property felt safe, even though the room was accessible from the outside. Has own parking

The Milk Factory was such a fun surprise. Its rooms were bright and spacious for Icelandic standards. It was located close to sights in Hofn and easy to find right off the main road into town. The Milk Factory is a fantastic choice when staying in Hofn!

The view out Room 108 was spectacular. Mountains, a Glacier and horses. The room was spacious with lots of storage. There were a variety of choices for breakfast. Not your typical American buffet but very good.

We stayed one night and checked in late. This is a no frills place. Rooms were clean and WiFi was pretty nonexistent. We didn’t really interact with any staff since we checked in late and our key was left in a lock box.

Interesting property located in an old milk factory. Spartan but clean. Good location within town but would benefit from having a car. Travellers would benefit from bringing their own toiletries as the ones provided were very basic.

We saw the aurora from our room! The view is incredible! They provide a very good breakfast, and it has the best coffee machine in Iceland! The staff are also very friendly.

The property is right outside of the town proper. It is easily accessible, the family room was a nice space to spread out, and have a little breathing room for us and the kiddos. Breakfast was wonderful. We were able to watch the aurora from the parking lot, but we chose to drive to the end of town (about 5 minutes) to watch it over the bay without additional lights.
