  • The smaller of the two lagoons. I saw this one first and it was amazing. It was off to feel like your driving in the middle of no where and then, boom, amazing glacier lagoon! Lol. I couldn't decide which boat tour to do so I chose to do both (at each lagoon). For the tour I actually liked this one better. Cozier, the guide seemed more knowledgeable, and the mountain backdrop was better. Definitely go hang out at the other lagoon on the beach, but I'd vote do the tour at this lagoon. Love the reflections!!! This was approx 3pm in June. O and I don't recommend if you want to try both tours to do them back to back. The lagoons are only 10km/10min from each other, but this tour went over for me so I missed the other one and had to reschedule it for the morning. Good thing I was staying nearby. #waterlust

I wasn't sure about the property because the pictures were limited, but it was absolutely perfect for a quick stop over. The lady (owner?) was very nice, the room was clean, and everything was perfect for such a small area. Pretty impressive that everything was there that we needed. In sum, I was pleasantly surprised with this place, and I would stay again.

Alojamiento muy comodo, tranquilo con cocina bien equipada. Se trata de una casa al lado de la granja de los propietarios, pero donde solo hay 4 habitaciones, lo que crea un ambiente muy tranquilo y cómodo. Esta renovado y muy bien cuidado. Todo estuvo genial de los mejor alojamientos que tuvimos en Islandia

El apartamento era mucho mas grande de lo que me esperaba por las fotos publicadas, me llevé una grata sorpresa. Bonita decoración, moderna y minimalista, con lo imprescindible para una estancia corta. Muy limpio. Las camas individuales cómodas, el sofá-cama no tanto. El precio un poco elevado para lo que ofrece.

This property is a hidden gem. I stayed here for 2 nights. I rented the studio room. It was a good size, nice little kitchen with cooking oil and hot chocolate, perfect for making breakfast and packed lunches. I liked it so much I booked in for 1 more night on my return trip to Reykjavik.

Stanza immersa nella tranquillità islandese, ad una ventina di minuti in macchina da Jökulsárlón. Propone escursioni con i cavalli (immagino nei mesi estivi). Dimensioni della stanza locale, buon bagno. Consigliato!

My family needed a place close to Jokulsarlon Glacier lagoon. We drove from Reykjavik, making stops along the way to see the sights. We had a tour planned in the am. When we arrived at laekjarhus, we greeted at the main house and directed to our room. Parking outside the door, the room was nice and fit my family of 4 comfortably. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. My only issue was not being used to how to operate a European shower, but i chalk that up to being a dumb American. I wish we had more time to explore the farm and see the animals. Also, i am city folk, so this was way far from stores . Overall, i would recommend this place.
