The employees were very friendly and helpful. They drove me to several attractions when unable to confirm space with a group. The lodge has a water hole where various wildlife come to drink including 4 beautiful water bucks. Room was spacious and included outdoor shower. Bed was very comfortable. Continental or full breakfast served daily and dinner was also served on several nights for nominal price.
Fantastic location, beautiful setting, amazing hosts, perfect SA experience. The best of all things. I loved it, i chose it for the outdoor shower, recomend it for everything it offers.
Quiet and relax stay at the lodge in Hoedspruit. Friendly hosts. Easy place to reach driving the reserve. Easy to see some animals near the property (walking/driving around).
From check in service was quick given a quick brief. The lodge is extremely clean with comfortable beds. The animals roaming around made the experience worthwhile.

Bush but not much else
The lodge is open to the Bush. There is no protective fence. I would not recommend sitting on your patio at night unless you are ok with Bush conditions. Lights outside are turned off at night from around 8pm. We booked for 7 nights but only stayed for 5.
