This was an absolutely stellar experience! The staff at the lodge were truly wonderful, thoughtful and always ready to help. And the pool was fantastic, situated right next to the watering hole where you could relax and watch wildlife. The food was exceptional, and each meal came with a thoughtful wine pairing. With two game drives a day. Our guide Prem had eagle eyes. The exta bonus evening drive was a nice touch. The entire experience was simply unforgettable. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Our stay at Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge was very enjoyable overall, with great highlights and a few points for improvement. Sydney is an excellent game driver, very attentive and dedicated, always committed to finding the Big 5. His knowledge of the region is impressive, and thanks to him we had already seen all of the Big 5 by our second game drive, which was incredible. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the lodge is very comfortable, creating a relaxing atmosphere. However, there were some issues. Upon arrival, the bathroom trash had not been emptied and still contained waste from previous guests. The bathroom door in Tent 1 does not close properly, affecting privacy. We also experienced noise from staff conversations near the tent. We booked a transfer to Hoedspruit Airport but were not informed that the only available time was 10:30 AM. Our flight was at 3:20 PM, so we waited about four hours at the airport, which has limited infrastructure. When we asked to cancel, the lodge refused to refund, which felt inflexible given the price level. Lastly, the air conditioning in Tent 1 was inconsistent and sometimes left the tent very hot. Overall, a great safari experience, especially thanks to Sydney, but with some operational improvements needed.

Our safari trip to Africa was truly the trip of a lifetime. The safari drivers were absolutely amazing and made every day such a great experience. It was a smaller resort, which I loved because everything felt so personal and welcoming. It never felt crowded or overly commercial. The food was another highlight. The dinners were incredible, and we looked forward to them every evening. Between the amazing safari experiences, the wonderful staff, the beautiful setting, and the incredible food, this is a trip we will never forget. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a special and more personal safari experience.

Reservamos a tenda e foi INCRÍVEL! A acomodação era perfeita, super confortável e espaçosa, com vista para o lago onde pudemos ver rinoceronte, antílopes e uma família de elefantes! O staff é super simpático e acolhedor! A comida é incrível e sempre apresentada pelo chef! Sobre o Safari: experiência ÚNICA! Fizemos 4 game drives e vimos os Big 5. O quarto estava impecável, limpeza maravilhosa, quando saia para ir para os safaris sempre voltava com o quarto organizado. Equipe nem sem fala a recepção, os atendentes do restaurante. O lodje é bom, ficamos em uma tenda! O custo-benefício valeu a pena. A comida é boa mas sem variedade. Os safáris são legais mas os carros não possuem capota em caso de chuva, ou seja, será um safári raiz! Colaboradores atenciosos. O transfer achei que estava incluso, pois quando me ofereceram não falaram sobre valores extras, então fui surpreendida no check out. De modo geral, recomendo a experiência.
