“Hotel was in good condition, however one of the lights for bedtime reading was blown and the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied, but for one night, it was ok. Food was not the best both breakfast and evening. Breakfast hot food was barely warm and evening was the same after waiting 30mins after ordering and only being us and another couple dining. There was a restaurant next door however they fill up fast and had no spaces for us, hence eating in the hotel. In review....book the restaurant next...

“Era bastante ruidosa, no nos importaba que fuera un poco vieja, pero la ducha estaba rota, el secatoallas también y falta de actualización en general. Olía mal el pasillo y habitaciones y las toallas. Hubiera merecido la pena pagar más y haber estado más cómoda en otro hotel. ”

“This is the second time I have stayed there in last couple of mths, lovely suite we stayed in, lovely pub and good breakfast. Will definitely stay there again.”

“Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun.”

“Lovely staff and a comfy bed saved this property from a less favorable review. It feels like a converted hospital where the interior designer ran out of money. But, it is LITERALLY opposite the station if you need to catch a train. And they have gorgeous looking cannoli. Good in a pinch.”

“The Belfry is a unique old building with a first class modern interior. The room were very well appointed with alll the usual facilities one would expect from a high class hotel. The breakfasts were individually cooked and presented in a timely manner, with a wide and excellent selection to choose from. This was our first visit to the Belfry and it certainly won’t be our last. Jeff Winstanley”

“A lovely old property, very quirky. Included breakfast was cereals, toast, fuit and yoghurt. We paid extra for the cooked to order and were glad we did. It was very tasty and the ingredients were clearly very high quality. Evening meal was excellent and bar prices were very fair. Lovely gardens, ideal to enjoy a peaceful summer evening. The hotel is extremely dog friendly. All in all we enjoyed our stay,”
