This is a very old rather quirky motel. We had pre-paid for our 1-night stay and the reception office was un-manned for our entire stay. Room rather small and dated but had everything needed. Dining facilities have now been closed.
Good meal at the New Norfolk Hotel and breakfast at Maccas!
Staff friendly and helpful. The room was not large but adequate, and well equipped. Plenty of towels etc. Quiet. Air con/heating efficient. Each unit painted a different colour and lots of plants around make for a lovely aspect. Recommended!
Review for Junction Motel New Norfolk
If you love colors, art, and history, this is a wonderful place to stay. Each room is uniquely decorated with creativity, clean and comfortable. Just steps away from the charming town center, you can enjoy views of the Derwent River, heritage sites, antique shops, and cozy cafés. Truly a memorable and artistic experience.
Our room had everything we needed for a stopover: updated shower recess, plenty of towels, good aircon/ heating.
Walkable distance to food outlets.

Very quirky, arty and full of potted plants.
Good value but not to everyones taste as is very colourful with lots of character.
Comfy couch and double bed.
Quirky decor and a little dated, but had everything a modern room would have had. Enjoyed my stay.

Very quirky in a fun way. Well appointed, accessible & staff were available & helpful. Would definitely stay again & recommend to others for a comfortable affordable stay.
Very eclectic decor for rooms and outside. Bed was comfortable and the facilities whilst old were functionable. The photos used in the promotion were not the real life ones.

This is a very eclectic motel, with lots of pot plants and artefacts around the property. Although clean, the rooms are dated. The bathroom is very old, dark and only a shower screen.
It is a good motel for an overnight stay while travelling.

It was extremely cold during my stay. Although there was a heat pump, i had to crank it up to keep warm and went to bed early the first night. Unfortunately, no electric blanket or wifi and the floor was broken between the room and bathroom. The room was comfortable and well equipped though. The 2 night stay was adequate considering the price, just a couple of shortfalls.
