Clean room and really helpful staff. Would recommend staying here and would certainly come back. I couldn’t hear anything coming through the walls, so no complaints and hope that’s the same with all of them. TV was functional although if you’re watching the default channels, it does cut out here and there. I love the slippers from Mai House. Other hotels give ones with flat soles but these ones have a think sole so there’s cushioning. The gym was satisfactory, had everything I needed for most of my exercises. You won’t be able to lift heavy so you’ll need to be creative. Location wise, the war museum is only a few mins away with Ben Thanh Market around 20 mins. Found it easy to get around on foot and felt safe in the area.

Having heard of Mai House Saigon from few guidebooks (good ol’ lonely planet), I booked via hotels. Location is great: not in the middle of D1 chaos, but a lot options in the immediate vicinity while remaining quiet. Rooms were just my kind. Old school charm meets modern luxury. Food options in the hotel are not too much but there is a roof bar With knowledgeable staff, a good Mediterranean a la carte restaurant. Service was impeccable as well
