We loved it here, a bit outside of the city so we utilized the bus system. The staff were all so helpful and we had a wonderful experience here! Would definitely stay here again!

Good location and amazing breakfast. Few places to eat and grocery close by. If adventurous you can walk to downtown (1hr - we did as we wanted to explore) Dining staff were very friendly and helpful. We were group of 4 adults, my younger adult children could fit into bunk beds (debated about who wants to sleep down vs up) may not work for taller folks. It worked for our family perfectly. Also it’s not air conditioned so folks who like 65F type temp and come in warm days may find it hot. The outside temp was 50-60 while we stayed so it worked for us.

The property was in an excellent location for our travels.

Staff were very nice and tried to be accommodating to the extent they were able to. We had an ocean view on the 5th floor. The elevator had broken two times in one day and was completely inoperable for a day. I recently had a total knee replacement and my husband has heart issues we could not make numerous treks up 5 flights off stairs. The staff was able to move us to a 1st floor suite with deck/patio with a view of the back parking lot and dumpster, and construction. The bathroom was smaller and we had to push together the two twin beds in order to sleep together. The showers in both rooms were too small and the overpowering smell of sulfur when using the warm/hot water was nauseating. We were gagging trying to brush our teeth. I resorted to showering at our excursion to the lagoon. Additionally, this property has parking if you want to pay for it which is ridiculous. We ended up parking next door for free as long as it was after 6pm until 9am. We did sightseeing all day and came back to the hotel to park next door by 6pm and did not move the car until the next day by 9am. The only nice thing I have to say about this hotel is the breakfast was very good, staff were very nice, and the location was close to the water.

Everything was fantastic!! The breakfast was clutch, the rooms were amazing and staff was super helpful! I loved how close this hotel is to alot of the sights and things to do while you're visiting! Huge food scene just around the corner! My only advice is to people driving here, they have free parking for guests but very limited spaces. Luckily the street parking is free after 9pm. Other than that, I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Reykjavik
