Mystay Hiroshima Escape

Very nice hotel building on its own diagonally opposite the Hiroshima Peace Museum (Peace Park). Directly accessible from Hiroshima Suinkansen Station via Street Car #1 ¥240 fixed fare. Toilet facilites and bath very nice too. I rate this hotel 9/10 for comfort and location.

Hotel was in a perfect location. Walkable to Atomic Dome, Peace Park, Museum, shotengai shopping street and numerous restaurants. Very good breakfast at the hotel. Beds were comfortable. River view was spectacular overlooking the atomic dome and peace park. A short walk to an Italian Cafe along side the river, my favorite.

We had a view of the bones building from our room, the Peace Museum is just across the road, and a short walk to get the boat to Miyajima island.

The hotel is located in one of the most iconic areas or the world. We could look out our window and see the Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Dome. The staff went out of their way to assist us with whatever we needed. They were top notch.

Peace Park is literally across the street and over the bridge. We asked for a room with a view when we selected a deluxe double, but only got the wall viewing the back of another high rise instead of the Peace Park, which was beautifully visible from the room across the hall from Room 2530. Lobby is luxurious. Spacious and very welcome AC after coming back from a long day at Miyajima Island—the ferry is only a 10- minute walk down the river bank toward the dome, then 45 minutes in the covered ferry We were very happy with western style beds and bedding—king bed and double, with 6 pillows for up to three persons. I like te fact that we could help ourselves to needed amenities in the lobby without waste in the rooms. Breakfast included many options:,traditional Japanese breakfast, Continental, Western: everything from salad, grilled fish, miso and sukiyaki to make-your-own pancakes, white bread, yoghurt, fruit cocktail, fresh lychees… but buy by the day before to save 200¥.

Very good one!! I travelled a lot and this one is a really good surprise with this price. The beds were so comfortable we didn't want to leave them. The room is clean, the staff is adorable, you have space. We even had an earthquake and zero issue! The area is very nice too, near the dome and the park and you have a bus station right next to the hotel. Would really advise !!
