Very convenient location to trains, buses and streetcar since located just above Hiroshima station. Professional and friendly staff, who speak excellent English. Great room with great view on the 19th floor, and could see the sea and even catch the sunset from the room. Will stay here again the next time I visit Hiroshima.

Right in the station near the tram/street car tracks. The room was super clean and the staff were friend and helpful. The check-in process is self-serve ( don't worry it is a multi-lingual) machine. Shops are close by but some can be hard to find.. Just ask the staff of the station information centre.

Our stay at Hotel Granvia Hiroshima South Gate exceeded expectations. The room was new, spacious, bathroom clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Lots of western and Japanese food options and they thoughtfully added items that were from Hiroshima like oysters, anago, noodles and beef. Lots of pastries, fruits and even ice cream. Everything was fresh and delicious. The only issue is trying not to overeat. Being located in Hiroshima station, it was convenient to get around and many restaurants, shops and malls connected to the station. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

The doors to the hotel are located at the entrance to the train station. If you find the trollies then you're in the right spot. Search for the doors near that entrance. The hotel staff were very helpful and the connections to the trains and trollies were convenient. There are many great food option around this area of Hiroshima. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Our first visit to Hiroshima and so glad that we chose Hotel Granvia Hiroshima South Gate to spend our 4 nights there. The standout highlight was being greeted at the hotel reception by Makiko who guided us through check-in, then went above and beyond expectations by delivering us a hand-written note and maps of Hiroshima, to make the most of our time in the city. We asked for a quiet room and this request was fulfilled, the hotel's location being superb with so many eating options within 3-5 minutes of the front door. Breakfast was extensive and entertaining, especially with the cat-faced robot going around collecting empty trays and dishes.
