Cozy hotel

Good location, clean and cost effective hotel. The rooms are not very big but they are in good condition and functional even for 3 adults. They provided delicious coffee (which you can get more of from the lobby). The fridge and microwave were convenient. The area is quiet at night. There is no attendant to check in but they have a tablet with adequate English instructions. There is also no elevator but despite being on the top (5th) floor we didn't find this to be an issue (get a few more steps in!)

Adequate accommodation. My main criticism is that the room rate was similar to the rate that I paid for a far superior room in Osaka. The Ouchi is in a somewhat remote location that was difficult to find on a dark evening. No staff was present. Several aggressive « Strictly Prohibited «  signs greeted us. The spartan, small room was reasonably clean. Our wet clothing from a rain downpour could not be dried because the dryer was out of order. The bed and pillow were uncomfortable. The room charge should have been half of what I paid. Quite disappointing.

A spartan place which is fine when on a tight budget, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the unstaffed check-in process was slightly annoying after a long travel day. The lack of elevator was less than ideal for carrying up our suitcase as well. I’d only recommend this place to backpackers and people who like camping.

3人で宿泊しました。 受付は無人で、事前に登録を行っていたため、割とスムーズにチェックインできました。エレベーターがなく、外階段で5階まで上がるのは大変でした。 口コミを読んでいたので、恐らく5階かと思い、階段を1回で済ませるため、車を大通りを挟んだ徒歩2分ほどの所にある有料パーキングへ停め、そこからタクシーで平和記念資料館へ向かい、帰りに晩御飯を済ませてから、ホテルにチェックインしたので、5階までは一度しか上がることがないように工夫しました。 ちなみに平和記念資料館は、長蛇の列。入館は予約制でしたので、行かれる方は事前に予約をとっておくといいです。 部屋は、ダブルとセミダブルのベッドが置いてあり寝るだけなら問題はないのですが、お風呂が残念でした。夏だからまだ良かったのですが、シャワーでお湯を出している途中に急に水が出てきたり、お湯と水が交互に出ました。さらにシャッターの水圧というか水量を非常に少なく、女性は髪の毛が、長いと洗うのに時間がかかります。 また、ベッドがギシギシなり、その度に目が覚めてしまうほどでした。 お盆の時期に3人で1万円ほどで宿泊できたので、設備や環境が我慢できるなら、お安い限りです。

チェックインがわかりづらいです。一度チェックインした後に他の外国人旅行者の人たちもチェックイン手間取っていてので手伝いました。 もう少し動線が和系やすくしてあげたほうが良いと思います。またお風呂のお湯が出なかった時に元電源を入れるなども説明がなく日本人で戸惑うので海外の方は尚更難しいだろうなと思います。設備自体は価格に対し及第点でした。

21時頃にチェックインしました。エアコンは既についており暖かったです。埃などが全くない訳では無いけどまぁ気にならない程度でした。水周りも水垢などなく良かったと思います。悪い点としてはベットの配置はとても良かったのですが、とにかくベットの硬さが極端で片方は柔らかすぎで片方が硬すぎて全然寝れませんでした。まだ柔らかい方はマシでしたが硬い方はすのこに直で寝てんのかなぁってぐらいでした。ましてやみんなが真ん中で寝ているせいがUの字に沈んでしまっているので硬いは歪んでるはとにかく体が痛く寝れませんでした。掛け布団も寒く暖房を強くすると加湿器がないので乾燥してしまいました。
