This place is very well located, the conditions of the property are very good. The only negative aspect is the size of the room, which is very very small, we can barely move around inside the room. The breakfast is available for an extra charge but we didn't like the kind of food they serve in the morning, so we ended up buying breakfast elsewhere

Great location just 5 minutes walk from train and tram station so very easy to get around (can use a pre paid Suica card on trams). Room and bathroom very clean but very small. Good sized bed and comfortable but not much space around the bed for your stuff or moving around! Bathroom also small but functional with good shower and loads of hot water. Our room overlooked the train tracks so we could hear the trains but they didn’t really disturb us. The room had centrally controlled air conditioning so the first night it was a bit warm for our liking. Overall perfect location and a good nights sleep at a good price.

At this point, I've probably stayed at a dozen APA locations across Japan. This property is probably the oldest, or at least the oldest that might have the original interior. Staff was great, room was clean, but the bathroom is so old it doesn't have a vent fan, combined with tile and grout shower, there just will be some amount of mildew and mold. I have stayed at another chain hotel in Matsuyama and it too was quite old, so I still think this is probably one of the better budget hotels.

We booked two connecting rooms and my son had fun going between both rooms. Toilet was quite small but still ok. Room was really comfy.
