The hotel was conveniently located. It is an artsy hotel with paintings and drawings are displayed in the communal areas. You can purchase VOD ticket to watch on your in-room TV which was entertaining. The minor thing i am not happy with was how small the public bath was. Otherwise, I am quite happy with staying in this hotel.

Such a beautiful building. Reminded me of a European hotel in the decor. So well sister near the Piole Mall and so many nice restaurants. Only about 2 mills to the castle and the walking here is so easy. The hotel staff were so kind and the rooms were very nice. They give you very comfy pajamas to wear while you are there. I would definitely come here again.

I would recommend. Next door to the bus station . Very walkable to the castle. Room was very nice with a nice public bath. Breakfast was great. Very nice selection including local specialties and it has a special ice cream maker .

I was deliberately early as I wanted to see the castle on my arrival day. The staff happily stored my luggage until I returned and was able to check in. A nice touch would have been for my luggage to have forwarded to my room as they knew I had arrived.

The checkin process was fantastic, and the baths are great. Our bed was massive! But we soon discovered it was because two full beds were pushed together making the bed disproportionately large for the room. The location was great for visits to the Himeji castle. Dont order the massage but do enjoy the hot baths and cold plunge on level 4.

The staff are extremely professional and helpful. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the train station and about 15 minutes to Himeji Castle and Kokoen gardens. Shopping all around the train station as well. We were fortunate to get a room with a view of the castle which lights up at night.

This is our favourite hotel in Himeji. Convenient to the train station, local shops and bus transportation. Rooms are comfortable and staff are professional and helpful. The property is aging a bit but still retains its old elegance and glamour. The breakfast venue on the top floor with its chandeliers and view of Himeji Castle is a highlight. The breakfast selection is exceptional at this price level. I especially like the public bath. Although small, it is elegant and relaxing, The attendant is always polite and helpful. The hotel has three main entrances and a system of elevators which takes a bit of getting used to but I have gotten to see this as part of the charm of the hotel. During our last five day stay, our breakfast location was moved to the main hall downstairs due to rennovations on the top floor. I am looking forward to the results next time I visit this hotel!

The hotel is located 3min from the train station, it is just to the left when you exit the north side of the station. The check-in is efficient but could be a little more welcoming, I cannot say anything negative about the check in process but it is a little cold. We had a nice room on a higher floor with view of the city and the castle, it was very clean and well maintained. Somewhat old fashioned but it had style. We did not use the restaurant at it closed at 8pm and we like to spend quality time over a meal and have a good chat. The menu looked good. There are so many restaurants within 10min walk. The breakfast was very good, choice was extensive. Again everything was clean and very well maintained, staff were great. I think one of the best hotels in the city.
