The hotel is definitely old with limited parking. First impressions aside, it is located on the bay in a quiet part of Hilo. The rooms too were old and had not been renovated in a while, but ours was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room was clean , has a kitchen with refrigerator, the only thing we were dissatisfied with was no AC they had 2 standing fans and a ceiling fan but being summer it was really hot and hard to sleep .. Staff was very friendly and of course it’s an older property but for the price it was good .

I liked the fact the ocean front rooms had a beautiful view of the bay. The only downfall I had a problem with was the cleanliness of the kitchen. It smelled like rat piss, the shower smelled of mildew. Other than that the stay was perfect and convenient for me and my family.
