Room was very clean and comfortable! We liked the availability of parking and snacks/water. The part we most enjoyed was breakfast in the morning. We got to eat a phenomenal meal with an ocean view each morning! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Such a nice and cozy spot in a beautiful area of Hilo. So close to the main part of town but the property feels like you’re in your own jungle oasis right next to the ocean. The staff was always available and very accommodating to us and our toddler. We would love to come back to Hilo and specifically stay here again.

Ocean front beautiful welcoming location

Our hosts were welcoming and genuine. They were very friendly with several great suggestions on places to visit. I would yay there again on my next visit!

We chose an ocean front room. It’s large, with a cozy dark wood vibe, and has a perfect reading nook in earshot of the surf. Parking is a good size and the host offers nice details like water and other beverages.

A gem on Hilo Bay

We were looking for a place to stay for one night in the Hilo area, when I came across Hilo Bay Oceanfront B&B. We chose a room that was truly oceanfront, with panoramic views of Hilo Bay and amazing ocean breezes. The service was great, and there were lots of extras available at all times, like snacks, coffee & tea, and bottled water. The made-to-order breakfast at 6:30 am was icing on the cake. We will definitely return!

This is really a nice place to stay. The view outside the room is amazing! There’s no doubt that I would like to stay here again. Very nice and friendly host. Awesome experience to live here, it is like live in home, and the room is well-decorated and clean. The host is so nice and if you need a ride to the airport, you can schedule with them. Also, they will prepared you breakfast between 6am to 9am.

Owners really nice. Breakfast great! Cleanliness no, towels I wouldn’t dry my car with, sheets horrible. Little things like awesome towels and a higher cotton count on sheets make an overnight experience so much nicer

The ocean lulls you to sleep

What a wonderful surprise this little B&B was. We truly hated to leave. The room was just spectacular being right on a little cliff above the ocean. The hosts were so accommodating and the breakfasts were very good. The room was clean and the area quiet. We can't wait to go back.

Beautiful location. Listening to the waves at night was so peaceful. The staff is super friendly and helpful with suggestions. The daily breakfast was delicious. You have to get the pancakes. Everything you could ask for in a B&B and more. We will definitely stay here again if traveling to Hilo.

The property is very well kept, and Brian and his wife were the best hosts! The location and view are amazing, the made-to-order breakfast was unmatched! What really made it a memorable family vacation for us was Brian's warm and welcoming nature. He gave us great recommendations, provided us with water gear, shared history about the area, and even helped us with our last minute laundry! Would definitely recommend everyone to stay here while in Hilo!

I would just like to thank the hosts for making our stay the most hospitable one by far. It was a peaceful and restful stay where we fell asleep and woke up to the sound of waves. My wife and I appreciate the care shown to us during our stay, for allowing us to check in early after a terrible experience we had in another hotel the night before. I highly recommend this place, conveniently located within close proximity to all amenities, food options, beach and the airport.
