Vacations Close To Hillsdale College

Great price, reasonable location. We came in for one night for a show and this was by far the cheapest option. Had everything we needed, easy check in, etc. Some folks on the street may make people feel uncomfortable if they're not used to city living.

Beautiful property

I’ve been staying here for many years and always love it. Favorite little spot in Detroit away from the hustle & bustle but still very close to all activities! Love it so much I even bought a souvenir tee this time around. I’ll be wearing it all around my city of Grand Rapids, MI!

The staff were so friendly and the room was comfortable and clean enough. The actual property was a bit greasy in places, like elevators, doors etc. so the attention to detail on cleaning doesn’t see to be super high. BUT the price was right, the room was all we needed, and the staff are great. Awesome stay in Detroit, thank you!!

This was a disappointing stay. The property and houses are beautiful and the staff is lovely. The location is wonderful. However, the carpet in the executive king suite was disgusting. The carpet was stained in multiple places throughout the room. Not just a few stains here and there, but large areas of multiple stains. When I inquired, I was told the carpet would be replaced in the future when the property was renovated. The carpet is completely unacceptable for a property of this calibur and should be replaced immediately. Additionally, during my 4 night 5 day stay, the houses on both sides were under renovation, with construction starting at 8am and continuing all day. I had intended on working in the room on one of the days and was not able to do so due to the construction noise. The renovations were not disclosed prior to the stay.

Absolutely filthy room, the bottoms of our socks were black after one evening. Spots of food around the kitchen and pieces of skin in the shower. (Like from a foot scrub(?)). The staff was very kind and helpful, but this place does not clean its rooms.
