“The place is very dated, could do with a little TLC. There is no lift to the upper rooms, had it stated this on the website, I would not have booked. Having mobility problems, but not enough to have an accessable room, it was difficult with the stairs and luggage, however the receptionist did offer help. “Interesting old pub with good real ale. Evening dinner was very good but I found the full English breakfast a little disappointing. Bacon should be back and not two small rashers of streaky. The sausage was tough to break in to. The rest was okay. The room was spacious and had all the facilities. Would recommend for an overnight stay although you will need satnav to find it.”
