Love to stay here. It’s a very peaceful stay with everything you need. Close to town and hiking trails. Oak steak house is a wonderful restaurant on the property.

The receptionist recognized that we were senior citizens and gave us a room very close to the office and parking lot. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous size of the bedroom and enjoyed the separate area for the closet and dressing. The shower was wonderful. We enjoyed a pleasant evening sitting on the large outdoor area. We were disappointed that we couldn't access YouTube and Netflix.

Pet friendly but multiple dogs off leash and owners letting them roam which seemed odd leash weren’t required. Property is pretty, rooms were ok minus flea bites I brought back. Said they offered pastries for sale in the morning but they were not there during our stay. Highly recommend staying on the 2nd floor vs the first floor. Positives: friendly staff and the restaurant on property was excellent.-staff at restaurant was amazing.

Situated in the hills and d see signed by one of Frank Lloyd Wright's students this is an ideal getaway for a weekend. The Oak restaurant is one of the best in the area.

It was ok,the location was perfect- close to downtown and all the waterfalls and trails we wanted to see. It needs updating, the shower didn’t work in our room- only the hand held, the commode stuck every time flushed & had to giggle handle, no refrigerator or microwave in rooms. Have to pay xtra for refrigerator but don’t waste your money- it won’t hold but about 4 bottles of water. The restaurant on-site is a joke because you need reservations and the only one available was 9:00pm. We are 79 & 73 and we are out at that hour, not eating dinner, so you definitely have to drive for every meal as they don’t offer any room service. We left before office opened @ 7:30 and when we got home & received our final bill there were charges for beers that wasn’t ours (we don’t drink any alcohol) but they wouldn’t remove them because they said someone gave our name and room number? They need to require photo id or have some better way of identifying people. Our room was right outside the restaurant and courtyard where people gathered & drank every evening and unless someone heard us say our name at the restaurant and saw us return to our room, I have no idea how anyone would have that information except the EMPLOYEES.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at The Skyline Lodge. The staff was incredibly friendly & helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall environment offered so much time for genuine bonding and adventure. From the time we got there, the receptionist, Arri, went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home and were taken care of. This will be our go to spot anytime we go to The Highlands.

Pretty rustic lodgings. If you have a problem with musty old rooms, do not stay here. I had a headache within an hour and tried to change rooms, but all the rooms were the same damp smell. They even have dehumidifier machines in each room to try and mitigate the problem. I didn’t think this was worth the $$! The restaurant, however, was absolutely great. So much better than the inn in town. Literally everything on the menu was top notch.

I thought things were fine, my wife didn't. The walls are thin, we could hear neighbors talking pretty easily in the room. My wife asked for tea and the desk lady told her she'd sell her a bag, they didn't put tea bags in the rooms until later in the season. The wood fire in the common area was nice. We didn't really use the balcony, it was OK I guess. There were odd noises during the night.
