“Have known this hotel for a number of years and it was one of the best in the area but now needing a facelift without spoiling its design. Lift inside needs upgrading, fixtures and fittings need upgrading. STAFF were lovely especially Carol in the lounge area, very kind and helpful. Pool and garden area lovely. “I stay at the R&F frequently when visiting family back home in Barnstaple. The hotel is lovely and staff fantastic and I truly don’t have any issues at all. My recent stay however was totally ruined by the position/allocation of the room, which I stress is nobody’s fault, however I did experience a terrible night of deprived sleep which isn’t acceptable.
