“I stayed in the dog friendly room which was ok but not great. The carpets were stained and when we first walked in the room we could smell dog it wasn't a fresh smell. There was a half used toilet roll in our bathroom and no fan so it steamed up quite quickly. The room was at the bottom of the beer garden so was very noisy which wasn't that much of a problem. “The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The entire experience was above what you would expect for a relatively cheap three star hotel.”

“Tha staff were very helpful and polite, the hotel is well positioned for access to A1 and local bus route to Town. The room was perfect with plenty of room and an extra large bed. We had dinner in the hotel there was plenty of choice and all freshly cooked, excellent.”

“Great place and pleasant staff. Would and will stay again.”

“This is a lovely property that’s good value for money with friendly staff. A good base to explore the local beaches and countryside. Good food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, all served nice and hot. Overall a great stay, would go back again. Thank you!”

“Parking was good. Meals in pub were great. Breakfast was fantastic. Good beer.”

“Just back from a lovely stay at the Black Bull Inn. Staff were friendly and welcoming it's in a lovely location for parking and amenities. We had the luxury of staying in room 14 which featured a four poster bed, the room was lovely and the breakfast was amazing thank you cant wait to visit again.”

“Booked due to location for work appointment..Parking is very limited. Room was clean, unfortunately bed was of a poor standard and very uncomfortable.”

“The room I was allocated was a single bed in a what I can only describe as a converted shed at the rear of the property. Damp and very cramped .. with the toilet 2 feet from your headboard .. awful smell of sewer as well .. £90!? Not worth that at all .. will not return.”
