A magic place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Auberge Burgundy Guest House. Warm, friendly service was the constant norm. We were met in the parking area and help was offered with our luggage. We stayed in a beautiful, spacious, quiet room, overlooking the well designed garden. The breakfast was delicious and beautiful presented and the cozy lounge with a fireplace burning on a chilly winters evening added to the magic of this special guest house, thank you all!

A dream come true

We had always walked past this stunning hotel whenever we’d visit Hermanus, promising ourselves we’d treat ourselves one day. Well- we just did- and what a treat it was. Brilliant from the moment we arrived to the moment I we departed. All the staff were super welcoming from the parking to reception (Connor). We were upgraded to the penthouse with the best view ever. Spacious suite with everything super clean and light and bright. Free bottle of wine due to VIP status and treats in the room as well. Breakfast at the adjacent restaurant was wonderful and again the staff were super friendly and welcoming. This will definitely be our go to hotel in Hermanus for the future. Thank you for the awesome time.

Charming & characterful converted large house with a beautiful small central courtyard and yes it really does somehow have a South of France feel. Also small but charming is the welcome room off reception with a decent complementary tawny Port on offer, and on Hermanus’s occasional colder evenings, a log fire.

Noisy room!

This hotel is undoubtedly very beautiful. The restaurant deserves all the accolades it gets, as breakfast (which was included) was delicious and beautifully presented. My room was located in the old part of the hotel, and it was really very noisy. Thankfully the hotel provided ear plugs, which came in handy. The mattress also was not of the highest quality. Staff were very friendly and courteous. I will go back to Auberge Burgundy, but will make sure to book in the new part of the hotel.

Second time I have stayed here and it’s a really lovely place. I stayed in a poolside room which was light and airy, beautifully decorated. Charlotte Rhys toiletries which were an added bonus. Very central to everywhere in Hermanus. We didn’t need to use our car at all... walked to the shops, restaurants, along the beach path. Will definitely stay here again.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt. Sehr zentral, nur wenige Meter zum Klippenpfad. Im Gegensatz zu den meisten B&Bs in denen wir waren ist es modern und zurückhaltend möbliert, ohne viel Deko. Das zugehörige Frühstückscafe ist Instagram-schön, Frühstück war sehr lecker. Würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und auch mehrere Nächte bleiben.

Just beautifully elegant and relaxing place to stay. Needs a plug closer to the mirror maybe and we had middle room which was huge and stunning overlooking the bay . The whole building was classy and the staff were so lovely and helpful. Our only problem was that my husband is six foot tall and the bed was short and small so we didn’t sleep as well as our other hotels etc. Bed could have been king size and still not compromised the room space . A beautiful guest house I would recommend room R that has twin beds that are much bigger, we would return without a second thought .

Perfect position.

Great place to stay in Hermanus. Centrally situated in the hub of Hermanus. Close to the sea. Lots of restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Great helpful friendly staff. Hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable. The second time I have stayed here and I always feel comfortable.
