The pub, staff and food was fantastic. Room was comfortable but paper thin walls so not the quiet over night we hoped for, but still a pleasant stay away.
Room was lovely and comfortable, spotlessly clean and much bigger than it looked on the website. Pub staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. Breakfast options were plentiful and for the price of the deal, I couldn’t recommend highly enough. If it had been twice the price, it would have been worth it.
A last minute booking at this small out of the way historic inn. It was busy at the bar where we checked in so a short wait. Room was basic but well appointed, bed super comfy, shower was hot, tea and coffee in room. Self serve continental breakfast in a dining room was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and beautifully presented. Set in a small town with adjoining farmland. Close the Hampton Court Castle and gardens.
Lovely room, good value for money.
Fabulous shower.
Able to have a meal at night if required.
Only drawback was the room and bathroom was very dark....not enough lighting.
Evening meal was lovely, just a little disappointed about breakfast as we didn’t realise it was just cereals toast and yogurt. The fruit in the fruit bowl was a little soft.
Enjoyed the peace and quiet, situated right next to the public house, great food, parking right outside, lovely bright super clean room with lovely comfy bed.
Like the view/ green view from the top bedroom.
More option on the menu (for dining) will be useful for people who stay more than 3 days.
Metal things attached to the key is a bit impractical/useless & it looks like had been scratched the door.
It was perfect, good value for money and a lovely quiet location. Staff were friendly and the rooms were lovely. Views were fab and the pub was povely too. Will definitely be returning!
What a lovely period place, but with all mod cons, to stay. Had a lovely meal in the pub, staff were lovely and the breakfast plentiful. What more could you want.
Staff at check in was helpful and I enjoyed the Pub atmosphere. Food was good at the Pub and the staff was exceptionally helpful when Expedia goofed up our reservation.
We absolutely loved our stay at Englands Gate Inn. The space was so clean and comfortable, and had everything that you needed for a comfortable stay. We would love to stay again!
