Had a great time staying at the Marin hotel. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, breakfast was great and hotel room was clean and nice. Great location in Heraklion also.

Affordable and convenient hotel in walking distance from the ferry port. The breakfast views were stunning! I was easily able to explore Heraklion at night, then enjoyed a nice breakfast and walked over to my ferry first thing in the morning.

We had an absolutely phenomenal view of the port from our room, beyond what we could have ever expected. The room itself was decent but I couldn’t get the shower to turn on and there was some mold in the corners of the bathtub, not too big of a deal for a one night stay but we did let them know about it before we left. Breakfast was tasty and the hotel is perfectly located with a short walk to the port.

Hotel is in a great location next to the Harbor and the center of the city. The staff are excellent, and the morning breakfast buffet was excellent as well. Our room (with huge balcony) faced the port, and the view was breathtaking (similar to the view from the breakfast room). The room itself was fine but had poor lighting but good A/C. Bathroom as well was dull (color scheme), and poor lighting but clean. BTW the airport is close by and the planes take off predominantly toward the city harbor and they are close and loud (impacts all hotels and residents). We would stay again without hesitation.

I chose this property due to its proximity to the ferry terminal and only stayed one night. It was about a 15 minute walk from the ferry to the property, and check-in was easy. Breakfast options were plentiful and I especially appreciated the cappuccino machine and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Our room overlooked the harbor with a view of the fort. The hotel is no-frills but clean and has everything you need!

Rooms were nice and clean but there was some visible wear to some of the furniture and bathroom. Staff were friendly and the hotel is very centrally located for the city centre and bus links to Knossos and the airport.

Staff was very helpful, both at front desk and at breakfast. Location was good for us - close to shopping and to the ferries. Only downside is that the rooms are very small. family room had 3 beds and very little floor space.

In a great location, very handy for the archaeological museum & close to the port & the bus station. Excellent Cretan restaurant (Plani) 3 minutes walk. The room was a bit small, but the bed was enormous. There was very little storage in the room.

The property is nice but when they advertise a city view the room looks straight across the very narrow road looking into a block of houses. City view must mean seeing the city not a block of flats 4 meters away
