The location is good, near the harbor and the bus stations both to the airport and Knossos. The sea view room is really an amazing sea view one. The breakfast is much better than I expected. You could make fresh orange juice by yourself.

Our room was a good size and the property was convenient to the airport. No shuttle and taxi was 15 euro each way. The room was not very clean. Tap water is not drinkable & no bottle water was provided without a cost. The air conditioning didn’t work well. Staff were helpful in arranging our early morning taxi to the airport.

Affordable and convenient hotel in walking distance from the ferry port. The breakfast views were stunning! I was easily able to explore Heraklion at night, then enjoyed a nice breakfast and walked over to my ferry first thing in the morning.

Old style hotel with basic rooms but great location and friendly staff. Perfect for visiting Knossos and heraklion museums. Great restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Also just a few minutes walk to fort, port and bus station. Rooms basic with very old showers, but beds surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast had ok choices but lacking in quality. Good budget / mid range choice for short stay.

Do not stay here. Despite the great location, it is clear management simply does not care about the state of this hotel. Our room was too small for four people, the AC was broken, and constant street and plane noise made it impossible to open the windows (which blocked out most but not all of the noise). On top of that, the staff dropped off a baby crib without mattress or sheets. Furthermore, the barely functioning soap dispensers, the way too short shower curtain, and the fridge that was frozen over with ice made the owners’ overall apathy towards their property obvious. They clearly haven’t stepped into their own rooms in years. I recommend you follow their lead. Breakfast was good.
