“We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. “Really good location for the town. You can park on the garden street car park, you pay 8-8 and free over night. The accommodation is lovely, it’s clean and has everything you need. Breakfast was really nice and fresh. Would def return. The restaurant next door, is 15% off with your hotel door key. The burgers are to die for!”

“There is ample parking, staff are friendly and helpful. Sadly the hotel building is very dated and in need of urgent updating and maintenance. The carpets are stained and smelly. The beddings and furnishing are old, stained and surfaces are always sticky ! Hairs human, and animal are everywhere . The bathroom is disappointing, leaky flush, cracked basin and water pressure is very low, taking showers is frustrating. “We stayed here for 3 nights for a family wedding as the reception was at the hotel. The staff were helpful, the room was nice, spacious and generally clean. We did not know parking was an additional charge but was not ridiculous (£4 per day). I particularly enjoyed the power shower and the lobby area on the ground floor which was great for socialising with others after the event.”
