Henniker Vacations

Lots of random people in the lobby left sort of unsafe. Staff were nice. Good budget hotel.

Very warm welcome and clean room. Thanks.

We reserved this room a while back the first room they put us in visibly , had chunks of food and sticky things all over the floor and on the surfaces in the room , stunk , horribly of cologne , and there was hair all over the bed. We asked someone to come up and look at the room and to put us into another one. They did do that, but unfortunately the second room was completely disgusting too, and there looks to be stains of food on the bedding and what I appeared to be as blood stands. On one of the beds, there was also damages to the room such as broken furniture teared and ripped or some that were completely falling apart.I would never recommend anyone staying at this place. We did not end up staying because of the horrible conditions we had asked them if we could at least have clean betting so that our children would at least be sleeping on clean sheets and they could not provide that for us because they did not have any extras very disappointing, we had to cut our trip short. And it ended up taking a multiple hour rides back home.

At the price I paid for this room, I would expect a higher caliber of stay. First, I paid an additional +$100 because this hotel had a hot tub as I have a bad back. Hot tub was broken with no notice at time of booking. Although the indoor pool was decent I could have gotten another hotel at a much better rate. The staff apon entering to check-in were folding bed linens at the bar. Odd. Room had stains on walls, spiderweb by closet door, bedding slipping off the mattress before entering. and dead bugs on the ac/heater unit. While not feeling extremely unsafe, it is surrounded by sevaral homeless including garbage and shopping carts at streetside. Bar was loud and open to floor's rooms down the hallway. Not huge things but again, for the price paid, I would expect more. The hot tub being the reason for staying there, so therefore very disappointed.
