The hotel needs updating..I had a no smoking room and the bedspread had burn holes in them there were burn marks on the tub. The little refrigerator that was in the room. The door wouldn’t shut unless you picked up on the refrigerator. The bed slept awesome. I stayed at another hotel the night before in the bed was horrible but the hotel was great, but I cannot complain one bit about their beds. I would not want to take my kids there and stay. The tub was nasty. The shower curtain had smoke buildup. It was yellow and it should’ve been white but if you just need somewhere to sleep and take a shower and you don’t wanna spend a lot of money it’s not that bad. Check in was a little bit of a problem when I got there there was a note on the door so they wouldn’t be back for 30 minutes and I think I waited about 10 or 15 minutes for the person to come back and then if he told me one time something he told me five more times and just kept on and on and on repeating it.

It’s a cute tiny property and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The problem is that when i arrived, it took forever to get the key and then i tried to call and go back to the office for the WiFi password and never got anyone to answer. The room also had a small space heater and the low temperature got down to almost single digits. I’m sure by morning the room was around 55 degrees. That being said, it made for some great very hot showers!!

I was bamboozled with the photos of the room, it didn't look like the photos, it was run down first of all and we had to wait for 15 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check us in and when someone did come to the desk he was half asleep and asked for our identification then it took him 15 minutes to get the repeated speech out of his mouth about rules and regulations of that badly needed a remodel and renovations immediately dump of a motel, when we got to the room OMG! It was a rat trap, burned covers on the bed, broken bed leg, mold and mildew in the tub and shower, dirty carpet and messed up walls, dirty table and chairs, it was late so we decided to sleep but we got out of there as soon as it was daylight. Please don't waste your money on that place, you will be very disappointed and unhappy. That place needs renovations and remodeling. I wish I could upload these pictures of the place smh.

Don’t interrupt desk staff or starts the premises rules over and over. Quality of room is what you pay for. Bed comforter had multiple cigarette burns in it for a non-smoking room.

The room is dated, but exceeded my expectations for the price. I didn't feel unsafe, the property around the outside was clean and I didn't see a single bug inside the room. Sure, the guy at check-in recited the rules for what felt like 20 minutes, which gave me the impression that he used to be a carny or something at the local fair, but at the same time, I knew that they had very strict rules and he wouldn't allow any crazies to come in, which made me feel secure as a solo female traveler. Tub was clean and the water was nice and hot. I brought lysol wipes and went over everything as I do at every hotel. Blanket had cigarette burns, which was gross, but I brought my own blankets and pillows and the room didn't smell like smoke at all. It honestly wasn't that bad. Worth the price. I'd stay there again.

Stayed here briefly on a trip to Asheville area. As a solo male traveler, it worked out fine, and the price was right. I'd be less likely recommend it for a solo female or for families. The room was clean enough at first glance, no funky smells or obvious biohazards. I did look around with my blacklight, and I would encourage other travelers to not do that if you plan to stay here. Everything worked in the room. The vending machines up by the front office, not so much. There's the usual hotel AC unit which worked fine, and a rather scary looking space heater that I didn't try. There's signage saying not to use the heater and microwave at the same time, so clearly the wiring is a little suspect. The little bedside lampstand had some outlets on it that were covered with duct tape for whatever reason. Checking in was a bit of an adventure, the front-desk guy (who might be the only employee on the property?) is a bit of a character and explained the rules and regulations to me about 10 times, and made it very clear that if I order Uber Eats, I have to meet the driver off the property to collect my food. I was also told that they take a $5 deposit for the room key -- a real metal key, how quaint! -- but it was waived in my case because I booked via third-party booking site. Quiet enough place, despite some come-and-go traffic in the next room. I'd stay here again, but your tastes may vary.

Absolutely horrendous. Rude staff, crack head neighbors tried starting a fight, couldn't have my gf over. If I ordered food it needed picked up across the street. Poor construction broken tiles tiles taped to the wall mold grimey chairs I mean...I've been traveling for the last 15 years and this is by far the worst hotel I've ever been in.
