We stayed two nights to play golf and visit St Albans. We booked dinner, bed and breakfast. Food was good, drinks not over priced, staff very attentive. Bed very comfortable and golf course a challenge.

Property is very outdated, certainly not a 4 star hotel. I would suggest it's a low 3 star at best. The whole property really needs a renovation. The building as you drive up to it looks lovely and I am sure it could be so nice if it were to be renovated.

It was a pleasant and friendly place, however, my room showed significant signs of general wear and tear. The food and restaurant service was very good. Good location, 20 mins from M1 and Hemel Hempstead
