Silverfish in the Bed

Arrived to the room to find silverfish in the bed, first one and then another when looking through the bed. Upon telling the staff that I do not think one should pay full price for an insect infested room they just said ‘oh no, are they back’ and there was no refund or discount. The location is however rather beautiful but rather remote if you do not have access to a car.

Das Hotel war ein absolutes Highlight unseres 5-tägigen Trips in Schweden. Im Gebäude „Ven“ untergebracht hatte man zwar bis zum Frühstückssaal und der Rezeption den weitesten Weg aber es zählte für uns als Spaziergang. Die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig, nur ein paar mehr Staufächer haben gefehlt. Das Frühstück selbst war sehr reichhaltig und von Joghurt bis zu Brötchen/Knäckebrot gab es wirklich alles. Der Ausblick dabei war ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Das Restaurant für das Abendessen war mit A-la-Carte Bestellung, preislich gehobener, dafür auch sehr lecker. Vom Hotel aus erreicht man die Innenstadt Helsingborgs mit dem PKW innerhalb von 10min - Parkplätze gibt es vor Ort des Hotels kostenlos und ausreichend. Fußläufig vom Hotel ist ein kleiner Sandstrand, welcher zum Baden oder Verweilen einlädt. Die Mitarbeiter des gesamten Hotels sind zuvorkommend und sprechen sehr gutes Englisch. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Nästan allt var bra. God och bra frukost, kul om den hade varierats lite och att juicen inte var något blaskigt med kemisk smak. Rummen ok men slitet. Tyst, mjuk madrass i smal säng och riktigt usla kuddar. Fint om det hade varit hygien överdrag på. Ett tandborstglas! Vill du dricka något på rummet får du ha med eget. En liten kyl i sommarvärmen vore inte fel och ett litet värdeskåp i garderob vore nästan ett måste. Utemiljön är fantastisk, restaurangen bra men lite dyr. Personalen är trevlig.

Trångt rum, för dyrt

Sundsgården ligger vackert beläget men tyvärr dras betyget ner pga att det är alldeles för dyrt för det man får. Ett väldigt litet singelrum (kan liknas vid studentrum) och hotell som kan jämföras med ett vandrarhem, som dessutom ligger en bra bit utanför stadskärnan, ska i min mening inte kosta lika mycket som ett 3+ stjärnigt hotell mitt i stan. Kommer tyvärr inte tillbaka om priset inte ändras och motsvarar det man får. Enda anledning jag bokade här och inte i stan var för att jag hade ett ärende i närheten. Annars hade jag valt ett bättre rum och hotell för samma prisklass inne i staden.

Utanför vårt fönster var ett tak där det hängde flaggor ifrån. vaknade 7.30 av mycket hög musik en högtalare direkt utanför på taket och folk som gick utanför och hängde upp saker vi var tvungna att ha gardinerna fördragna när vi skulle byta om detta är inte ok Inget ställe vi återkommer till

Allt var bra utifrån vårt behov. Det är inget lyxhotell men frukost var bra och rummen standar. Det är en bit att promenera till stranden vilket vi inte var förberedda på. Inget bra hotell om du har någon typ av funktionsnedsättning och behöver ta dig fram med rullstol eller rullator. Det är många trappor. Vi är nöjda och kommer återkomma.

Fantastiske tjenere.

Super flot beliggenhed og udsigt over Øresund. Lækkert mad og vin til meget fair priser og fantastiske tjenere i restauranten. Værelset var lidt spartansk, men okay til prisen. Det eneste minus og grunden til at de ikke får 5 stjerner, er at det badehåndklæde jeg fik udleveret ikke var større end et gæstehåndklæde, man normalt hænger ved håndvasken.
