Fantastic staff! Great breakfast and perfect location. Room was big, clean, very soundproof and beds comfortable. Duvets could have been a little nicer. If they updated the rooms a bit, it would have been 5 stars across the board, but it’s pretty out dated, the bathroom sink was cracked and there was only a teeny tiny glass shelf, that was all crooked and falling out of the wall, so there were no storage.

Centrally placed hotel. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Rooms are a bit outdated, but functioning. Beds were amazing. Slept like a baby!

Unfortunately we were unable to book one of the limited parking spaces belonging to the hotel, so we had to find parking elsewhere. The desk assistant was helpful when we phoned to ask where we should go, but in the end we found our own space, which turned out to be free. We arrived on a Saturday night, and the closed off streets in the area made navigation very difficult. Being better prepared than we were would be advisable! Breakfast was delicious; fresh and plentiful, with something of everything in the help yourself buffet. Apart from our parking problems, this hotel suited us admirably, and was very convenient for the ferry in the morning.
