This hotel is the perfect location to explore the Snæfellsnes peninsula. The visitor center is a short walk away and the village is pleasant to walk through, especially Love Street by the water. The rooms are exactly what we were looking for: a place to sleep and stash gear while we explored. The restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. Where this hotel excels is the service! Friendly and helpful.
We had a great night in the hotel. The room was clean and there was plenty of room with the three beds. The restaurant food was good for dinner and breakfast was tasty. The front desk had a map showing all the murals in town so we went for an evening walk checking them out. We highly recommend looking for the magnificent murals. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
We liked this hotel. It was our first experience with self-check. This was due to the time of year we traveled (May) and doesn't apply to summer. Breakfast was good. Easily walkable around town though we arrived too late to enjoy the town. Property is updated and, overall, it was a very good stay. We would stay here again.
The staff was incredible and accomodating. This hotel was nice and is a perfect place to stay if you are northern lights hunting. Karolina and Adam were very pleasant and provided excellent conversation!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Room is clean, staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast is good!
If you have 3 person in a room, the space is kind of small. You will have limited space to open your luggage. The bath area is extremely small.
We ended up here accidentally and are glad we did. From check in to check out Anna was amazing and went out of her way to make us comfortable and feel welcomed. With major winter storms and limited options she made sure we were taken care of.
The location of the hotel is located the north west corner of the Peninsula, you can see a mega sky that you may be never saw before.
The servicer is friendly, I would like to recommend this property to everyone.
The manager Paulo was excellent and very very helpful and friendly. My wife and I travelled to Iceland in March 2025 and we had travel difficulties due to the snow in the mountains on Rte 54. I called the hotel and Paulo was very helpful. He gave us another route to get to the hotel that was safer. The hotel is very close to the national park in Snaefellsness. The hotel was very and good and so were the amenities. The breakfast at the hotel was good and healthy as well. We had an excellent stay at the hotel. We would definitely stay there again!
Everything is good. But it is one thing your team have to improve. Without icebag and without first aid for emergency case. Yesterday i need that and i call front desk. Do not have anything at all. So sad…!!!
Property was as expected. We were informed just prior to our arrival that the onsite restaurant was closed and there were no other food options available in the town or nearby. This was inconvenient however, we made arrangements due to their pre warning. Breakfast options were limited but overall okay. Hotel was fine for a one night stay if you just need somewhere to sleep. The man on reception/breakfast was extremely friendly and helpful.
There is no hot water machine in the room, but the front desk was very enthusiastic and provided extra hot water. Thank you very much for the thoughtful service.
