Room 232, nice and clean, comfortable bed. Everything worked and bathroom was clean and had a tub with shower with plenty of hot water. Balcony was dated almost to the point of unsafe, do NOT lean on the railing, pretty sure it's going to give way soon if it isn't repaired or replaced. Great view and nice staff and room.

If you stay here I definitely recommend getting one of the balcony rooms. The view is great and since it faces a little park area it very peaceful when sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee in the morning.

They staff is very helpful and friendly. A person knows that the pool needs attention when you can hear the frogs crock. But it was securely fenced off. There were 3 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 2 wash cloths in the room for 2 people. We had to get maintenance come turn on the TV. Then we could not turn it off with unplugging it. The light fixtures blinked. The bulbs needed to be replaced. The carpet was filthy. Everything in the room is old and needs to be replaced. If you have another choice in Helen take the other choice.

Property and staff okay. Could use a renovation, but the problem seems to be the clientele that for some reason have to damage the rooms. Could use better breakfast, sharing a milk container didn't seem safe. Overall, I would recommend them as they have a good price point for the overly expensive Helen area. Save your money here, your going to need it.

I always enjoy leaving an honest review. The Baymont in Helen was a fun stay for me and my family. We had a room with 2 queen beds and a balcony. The view was great from the balcony and the beds were really comfortable.

The staff were friendly enough. The rooms are in major need of repair. The ceiling popcorn is coming off the door to the bathroom was broken and a mirror was placed over it. The sheets and towels were stained with something brown. Black mold on the shower doors. All the walls needed some paint. Seems they have not painted or updated since the early 90s. The pool is not in working order. The fitness room was not in working order. The complimentary breakfast was cereal and milk.

This was a fine hotel. Close enough for walking to everything in town we wanted to see. We didn't eat the continental breakfast...too many other restaurants we wanted to check out instead. We came here during Oktoberfest. A very nice stay.
