Peaceful hotel with a spa

Peaceful and comfortable spa hotel, beautiful surroundings by a river. Small but many-sided spa which was not crowded. Good breakfast.

You can’t beat the location of Kumpeli! Absolutely beautiful views of the river! The new owners have made some excellent changes. The spa was great before, small but very pleasant, now with the addition of the fabulous terrace with sunchairs and direct access to the river. The lobby is so much more inviting and service very friendly and efficient. Of course the rooms could do with some updating but they are very clean. Do get a room facing the river though…Really looking forward to going again and even more improvements to this very valued hotel!

De ligging, wij hadden kamer met uitzicht op het meer was fantastisch. Beneden een gezellig terras met bar. De accommodatie is best verouderd. Hier en daar is wel een verfje nodig. Dat zie je in de slaap en badkamer. Zo wij konden zien, wordt er wel aan renovatie gewerkt. We misten een tafeltje op het balkon en op zondag komt er geen housekeeping. Het personeel was vriendelijk en we hebben voortreffelijk gegeten. Zowel ontbijt, als diner waren prima.

このホテルに宿泊するのはこれで4度目。今回は7月ということもあって、スパは混んでいて、利用しなかった。部屋は清潔で、川に面していて静か。部屋に冷蔵庫があるのも良い。朝食もそんなに種類はないが、美味しい。また来ます。

Schönes Zimmer mit Terrasse. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit guter Auswahl. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Habe jeweils sehr gut gegessen. Sauna und Pools habe ich sehr genossen. Das Personal war stets freundlich und aufmerksam .

Haluaisin ensiksi kiittää Hotellin Kumpelin henkilökuntaa siitä, että minulle tarjottiin korotettua superior-huonetta syntymäpäivän kunniaksi. Hotellilla on hieno kylpylä ja yhdessä vaimoni kanssa meillä oli hauskaa siellä. Mutta moitittavaa on. Ensiksi ihmeteltiin, miksi Heinolan Kymijoesta tai Ruotsalainen -järvestä haisi lähes koko ajan pahalle rikille, joka ulottui huoneeseeni asti. Kävi ilmi, että Heinolaa lähempänä oleva Stora Enson tehdas domppaa jätettä veteen aiheuttaen sitä hajua. Tämä tilanne on muka ollut näin monta vuosikymmentä! Tämä paha haju aiheutti itselleni ja keuhkoilleni suurta haittaa kuin hyvää, kun tarkoitukseni saada 2 päivän yöpymisestä jonkilaista toipumista keuhkosairaudelle, jonka kärsin. Toinen moitittava asia on se, että aamupalan taso ei vaikuttanut 4 tähden hotellin tasolta, vaan juuri ja juuri 2 tähden. Olen muissa 4 tähden hotellin aamupalaa syönyt ja ero on kyllä huikea. Kolmas moitittava oli huoneen sänky, joka myöskään ei vaikuttanut superior-tasoiselta, kun suojauspatja liikkui sivuttaisesti pois sängystä. Neljäs moitittava on se, että hotellin suolahuonessa oleva levitinkone ei toiminut ja huolto oli muka tilattu, mutta ei ole saatu korjattua. Hotelli suolahuone oli yksi syistä, miksi valitsin juuri tätä hotellia oman hengitysteiden hyvinvointiani varten. Kokemukset itselleni Hotelli Kumpelissa oli valitettavasti enemmän haitallista kuin hyödyllistä. Voisin suositella pelkästään kylpylän käyntiä, jos jollakin on kiinnostusta.

Yö Heinolassa, miellyttävä kokemus.

Huone oli siisti ja parveke ihanasti järvelle päin. Kylpyläosasto oli tosi ihana ja Relax puoli loistava. Pukuhuone oli vanha mut muuten spa oli tunnelmallinen, aidot kynttilät paloi ja maisema järvelle. Todella hyvät saunat. Höyrysauna 😍 Kylpylältä kiva rantareitti ulkoilla. Hotelli oli vanha mutta siisti. Ainut pieni miinus oli ravintolapalvelut, ala carte jossa ei ollut pizzaa :) Aamupala oli hyvä. Täällä ois kiva kokoustaa, tiloja sellaiseenkin on.

Aivan hyvä.

Eka kerta Kumpelissa ja tullaan kyllä toistekin. Loistava sijainti ja kylpyläosasto on remontoitu lähiaikoina. Pihassa ei ole sähköautojen lataus mahdollisuutta, joka on tänä päivänä itsestään selvyys hotelleissa.

Huoneet siistit ja hiljaiset, mutta kuumat, onneksi parveke ja puhallin löytyi kuitenkin. Kuntosali vanhanaikainen. Kylpylä todella kiva, jos ei ruuhkaa. Aamupala simppeli hyvä. Ravintolan ruokalista illallisen kohdilta todella suppea.

Upea sijainti

Kiva kylpylä, upeat maisemat, ystävällinen henkilökunta. Aamiainen on vaatimaton, mutta illallinen hotelliravintolassa hyvä. Heinola oli muutoinkin mukava kohde ja suosittelemme myös Tango & Matto -bistroa.
