We love Heidelberg and this hotel has a view of the hills and Zieglehausen and it’s just delightful, we love this hotel and will try to always stay a couple nights while traveling through!

Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff very quiet and peaceful to rest. The bus stop was just around the corner and conveniently took us to and from anywhere we needed to go. We opted for the breakfast which was very nice and a beautiful setting

Lovely hotel. Room was spacious and well appointed. We had a double with extra seating area on the 4th floor with great view. AC was great with temps outside in the 80’s. Breakfast was delicious and the staff charming and attentive. Would live to stay there again.

It was like living in an Agatha Christie hotel. Creaky floors, worn walls yet a lovely ambience. The breakfast was truly excellent and the garden, well one of the best views in town.

Quiet hotel in the hills next to Heidelberg. Old city center only 10 minutes away. Nice place to slow down and relax. No AC in room, so very warm if it’s hot outside. Staff very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was superb. Typical German breakfast offerings, so don’t expect eggs and bacon or beans and sausages.

Leider war es nicht so berauschend. Der Empfang war herzlich, schnell, und freundlich, sowie die Dame am Frühstücksbuffet. Das Zimmer eine Enttäuschung,,die Spinnweben an der Decke ZUVIEL. Das Bett wurde nur zeilweise gemacht. Das Kissen und das Duvet geschüttelt,kein Leintuch gestreckt,im Badezimmer auch nachlässig gereinigt. Der Herr am Sonntagmorgen am Buffet war mürrisch und unfreundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat das ganze gerettet.Reicht aber nicht für ein zweites mal.

Zugewiesenes Zimmer bei Ankunft sehr kalt. Teil der Heizung defefekt. Sehr großes Zimmer im Stil der 1970er Jahre. Modrig, muffiger Geruch. Nach wiederholter Nachfrage bekamen wir für eine Nacht ein Zimmer im Haupthaus, dasvon der Ausstattung und Heizung in Ordnung war. Am nächten Tag mussten wir wieder in das ursprüngliche Zimmer wechseln. Die defekte Heizung wurde am Samstagmorgen irgendwie gangbar gemacht. Wenn man die Originalwebseite des Hotels anschaut, meinen wir, wir waren im falschen Hotel. Das wird uns hoffentlich nicht mehr passieren.

Hotellet ligger i et skønt naturområde med udsigt til floden. Det ligger i gå afstand til byen og slottet. Man kan ikke spise på hotellet, men få leveret mad. Parkering kan være et problem.
