quite well-kept structure even if the rooms have dirty carpeting and the bathrooms are very old with encrusted sanitary ware. The price for a hotel of this type seems a bit high to me. Peaceful and quiet, it is far from shops, bars and restaurants.

We stayed in a room with 4 single beds. Room wasn’t anything fancy but beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Grounds around were nothing fancy and appeared to need some maintenance. Price was good as we only needed a place to sleep.

Renovation/Upgrade required

We have been at the Heidehof many times over the past 10 years. You can clearly see that the rooms need to renovated: furniture, carpet and TV old and you see it’s all >10 years old. bathrooms not very clean mainly do to sign of times.

Het hotel is toe aan een update, de kamers enz. zijn nog voldoende en alles werkt maar nieuwe bedden en bv een grotere TV zou fijn zijn, hotel ligt aan de rand van Heerenveen maar binnen 5 minuten ( met auto ) ben je in het centrum of bv SC Heerenveen. Koelkast op kamer is altijd een +. Parkeren kan voor de deur en Thialf is aan de overkant van de weg.

Prettig en betaalbaar hotel in Heerenveen. Het diner in het restaurant was prima, maar enigzins overprijst. Het hele hotel was ook wat vergane glorie, maar ik heb heerlijk geslapen in een rustige omgeving. De kamer was schoon.

Vi har benyttet dette hotel flere gange og har aldrig været skuffet, fra en venlig og imødekommende reception til hjælpsomhed hvis vi har manglet noget, der er leveret de par gange vi har haft brug for det, næste gang vi er i området vil vi booke dette hotel igen.

Matig, gedateerd

Zwaar gedateerde kamers. Grote kalk vlek ik het bad. Stof slierten aan het plafond. Vol met muggen. Wij hebben er ‘s nachts een klein dozijn om zeep geholpen, maar aan de muren en plafonds te zien waren wij niet de eerste…geen airco op de kamer (in de basis geen probleem), ramen konden niet open wegens ontbreken horren. Ontbijt was redelijk tot goed.
