Staff fantastic, was not impressed with continental breakfast particularly when I put curdled milk in my cereal. The bathtub had rounded bottom, and I slipped and almost injured myself while trying to take a shower… room was nice clean well set up…

The Super 8 in Hearst is one of our regular stops on our yearly trip out west, and we’ll definitely be back again next year! The hotel is conveniently located with ample parking and decent-sized rooms. The two queen beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and spacious. We’ve always stayed in a room toward the back of the hotel, so we’ve never had any issues with road noise. You can hear the train slightly in the early morning, but honestly, I don’t mind it at all. For me, it’s actually exciting to watch the big cranes and see all the activity happening at the wood factory. It’s a unique part of staying in Hearst! Overall, it’s a comfortable and convenient stop for our yearly drive west. See you next year!

Solid hotel option in this area. Staff were very helpful and got me into the room quickly with no issues. Room itself was ok but toilet broke middle of my stay. The stairs leading to the 2nd level felt like they might collapse at some point as well. Some dirtyness around the rooms as well. However no major issues and pool was nice.

We stayed here for one night while passing through. The beds were quite firm, which may or may not suit your preference. The pool was on the cool side, but still usable. The breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast, with a decent selection to start the day. The rooms could use some updating, but they were adequate for a short overnight stay.

The hallways were extremely dark. The outside door did not work right ( sticking) The inside door chain was busted. If you like cold hard boiled eggs or pre cooked eggs that you heat up yourself and a nice selection of bagels and yoghurt and cereal than this will be a good breakfast for you.

First couple of nights there was a lot of noise. Hotel was accommodating and moved us to a quieter room. Hotel has the only pool which is a bonus. Cleaning staff were very accommodating. Over staying was excellent except for the couple of disturbances. Highly recommended if your travel with children on a budget.

Clean and quite spacious room with both interior and exterior doors. Great parking. Quiet inside despite the train yard and forest products mill across the road- they were of great interest to our grandsons. The pool was awesome - but should have stairs- difficult for seniors entering and exit the pool. Front dress staff on checking was not very helpful and her voice was too soft we had to request that she repeat herself several times. The “breakfast” was over by 9 am! Too early! And. Morning front desk person seemed “hidden” in an office until another customer called out! The “back in 5 minutes” sign was there not induwhen it began and we had waited more than 5 minutes before getting frustrated-and no coffee didn’t help.

The room was huge, bed comfortable, tv a bit small for the size of the room. The nice part was being able to park right outside our door. The hotel overall is a bit dated and the internal hallway very dark, but for a one night stay it worked perfectly. It didn't feel like the staff were very interested in their job and were not very helpful which was a bit disappointing. In the least, they could have stood up at the front desk to serve us and the folks in front of us. The gal sat there looking bored and the two times I went to the front office it felt like I was an inconvenience as I clearly interrupted their surfing time. Other than that - for a one night stay, the place worked well. The staff at the restaurant next door were amazing!

This motel is very convenient for me travelling across the north, it's clean, well-run, has a nice self-serve breakfast, I like parking in front of my room if I'm on the first floor, it's one of the few traveller's motels I look forward to staying in.

We booked the hotel for the ease of snowmobiling. Web site included a hot tub but no tub. Looked forward to using the pool. Pool was closed for most of the stay. Hockey tournament kids were a real pain in #%€. We got little sleep due to all night ruckus. Rooms were clean etc.
