A nice hotel

This hotel was ok, I found the tent very cold even tho it had a AC unit but it still didn’t warm up. The bathroom was completely separate. You had to lock and unlock 2 doors to get to the kitchen/bathroom. There is everything you need. The hot tub wasn’t very hot and needed more water. The whole stay was ok but not amazing.

The place would have been wonderful. BUT THIS PLACE IS NOT TRANQUIL the noise of the trucks on the r40 24/7 roaring past. It sounded like the place was next to the runway at Heathrow. They offered a lesser accommodation away from the road a bit but wanted to charge lots more. I’m sorry but this was not helpful…. Beware if you don’t mind sleeping with ear plugs THIS IS FOR YOU. BEWARE

Misleading, Unsafe, and Overpriced: Avoid Tranquil Nest Lodge I checked out after one night of a 4-night stay at Tranquil Nest Lodge. Despite claiming a 4-star rating, it is a neglected 2-star setup at best. • Safety Hazard: Advertised as a "luxury tent" with a separate bedroom, it is just a single open canvas room. The bathroom and kitchen sit in a detached outbuilding. Management explicitly warns that the grounds have venomous snakes and forbids walking after 7:00 PM. Risking snakebites and unlit stairs simply to use the toilet at night is unacceptable. • Poor Upkeep: The heater was broken on an 11°C night, while large door gaps let in freezing air and insects. The freezer was broken, and both the bed and shelves sagged badly. • Zero Communication: No in-room phones or intercoms exist. In an emergency, you must walk or drive 100 meters to reception in the dark. • Highway Noise: The name is pure irony; constant, loud highway traffic runs alongside the property day and night. • Deceitful Service: Absentee owners ignored my emails and refused to refund the remaining three nights. They even lied to Expedia, falsely claiming they offered an "upgrade" when it was merely an identical unit with the exact same defects. Do not lose your money here. It lacks the safety, maintenance, and ethics of an authentic 4-star property. Check their hostile public replies on Google Maps to see how they treat guests.
