Overall, the hotel was quite dirty. The room and bathroom were not cleaned well, and the whole place felt poorly maintained. The staff member at check-in seemed tired and acted as if checking us in was a hassle, which did not make us feel very welcome. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but there was a noticeable cigarette smell inside, which was very unpleasant. The one positive part of the stay was the breakfast, which was actually pretty good. Overall, cleanliness, staff attitude, and enforcement of the non-smoking policy all need improvement.

The place is a bit older, but the property is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. The price was good. This was not a fancy hotel, bit for the price very comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and polite.

I’m gonna be honest, we didn’t even stay there. We went and looked at the rooms and they were absolutely horrible. If it wasn’t for the fact that we prepaid and couldn’t get our money back, I would’ve demanded our money back. The pictures that are shown on the website, totally doctored and not accurate. The gentleman that checked us in at the front desk was very nice though. That’s the best I can say.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, and economical room, on lovely wooded property. Welcoming and efficient staff, to human guests and pets. Breakfast is abundant, and there is large refrigerator and microwave in room. I also appreciate the history of this property, having grown up in Hazleton.
