“Beautiful very spacious very large living and bedrooms. We slept like a baby and it was a self sufficient stay with a proper kitchen, milk stocked, coffee etc. etc. The TV were a bit outdated as they weren't connected to the Internet which could have been better but overall, fantastic property and a great overnight stayer if you are heading to Christchurch to catch a plane or have arrived in the evening at Christchurch and are heading to an alpine retreat”

“The owner offered to order me dinner on the two nights that we were there. We’re both light eaters so she brought one serving one night of a chicken schnitzel.. we shared and a lamb-shank the second night. Both were delicious and filling. It was handy and much appreciated.”

“Great place, very welcoming. Reception gave a map to help us plan our trip south the next day which was very useful. Oh, and within walking distance of penguin nesting across the park.”

“The staff were extremely accommodating, great stay thank you.”

“Nice room. There was no A/C in our unit and the hotel is on highway #1 so lots of traffic noise.”

“Absolutely top notch from the lovely lady at reception to the great views perfect stay, great location lovely apartment will stay again 🙂”

“I made a mistake with the booking date, and the host was great at helping me change it. Good location if visiting family in Temuka. Rooms are a bit cold (not unusual for NZ buildings - poor insulation is the norm for older buildings in NZ). The motel provides heaters in each room, which helped. Across the street from Night & Day dairy, good for snacks and supplies. A good option in the small town of Temuka if you dont want to trek from Timaru or Geraldine.”

“The room are so clean and the owner is so nice”

“Really nice place to stay, we will be back”

“Llegué al sitio y solicité más habitaciones y la encargada me dijo que no tenía ella y que tampoco había en todo el poblado y me lo dijo dos veces de una forma un poco molesta. Lo curioso es que si conseguí habitaciones que necesitaba. Y algo que no me pareció nada es que me cobró una persona extra en una habitación que había reservado para una y pagué por una segunda persona y en las otras habitaciones que coloqué que eran dos personas se pagó lo mismo. Creo que estaba de mal humor y eso aleja...

“Good place to stay”
