This is the second time we have stayed here to attend family celebrations in the nearby area. The Wheatsheaf is comfortable, reasonably priced and suits our requirements.
Classic country village hotel and pub. The room was a tad small but clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful throughout and the breakfast was excellent. Would stay again
Gayle was fabulous in greetings and serving food. Only issue I had was the couple overtop of me snored extremely loud. The walls between the rooms are very thin
Room was disappointing.
Room needed modernization.
Bathroom was very small.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was average but edible.
OK for one night stay but no longer!
The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and the beds are comfortable.
parking was not an issue there were plenty of spaces.
Our breakfast was freshly cooked as per order ,generous portions.

Very nice place, the pub was very good and staff excellent.
We had to go to Linfield for the. BBC Radio Sussex & Surrey community awards & found this to be the most promising place to stay the night. It turned out to be excellent! The room was very comfy & had everything we need including tea/coffe making, TV & very comfortable bed. The included breakfast was manor from heaven. The staff were friendly & helpful. We are now on our way to Scotney Castle & on our way back to Worthing will visit Standon Hous, feeling well fed & relaxed.
Highly reccomended.

It’s a pub with rooms. Breakfast was nice, the staff were friendly. The room was very dated, marks on the bedding but the bed was comfortable. The window didn’t shut properly so could hear the busy road most of the night. There was damaged floorboards in the bathroom. The walls are so thin you can hear next door plugging something in, the room was fairly dusty and no plugs by the bedside.
The staff were excellent friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly comfortable and very clean. The busy road outside was a bit noisy when we are used to quiet at night so needed getting used to. Breakfast and evening meals were good. Excellent value
We had a very good stay-an excellent welcome and the food was great. We had all we needed. Felt you could hear lots of creaking from above which was the only problem to our stay. Also a bin in bathroom be good.

Interesting stay at the Wheatsheaf. Had a single room with a few unusual quirks like a green nightlight that was permanently on and a bath that you could only sit in for a shower/wash. One to remember. Pleasant staff, great breakfast.
Great place to stay. We were going to a concert In Brighton and this was an ideal place to stay. Staff were helpful about local area, amenities and getting to and from Brighton. Room is simple but perfect for what we needed. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious. Plenty of choice, happy to accommodate special dietary requirements. Highly recommend.
