Property neat, well organized, everything we needed. The breakfast was excellent. Great biscuits and sausage biscuits. Well arranged tables snd places yo eat. This is our third time staying here about 7 years. Stop here when ever we are needing a night stay on Kansas.

We were very glad to find the Lodge in Russell after a long day of travel. We were pleasantly surprised to find the room to be delightfully decorated and recently upgraded and done very well. The breakfast was good and, yes, there were homemade cinnamon rolls too! It was a very pleasant experience and we would stay again.

Room was clean. It was like staying in grandma's spare room. Quilt on the bed, worn real leather chair. Very homey. Still using metal keys on classic diamond key chains. I felt like I'd stepped back in time. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when I locked my key in my room.

The overall cleanliness of the room was fine, but felt really outdated. Both of the beds were hard and uncomfortable to sleep on too. We tried both and slept on the softer of the two. We did have our pets with us and were glad we had this amenity.

While this is an older motor lodge, they have updated the rooms including better bathrooms and beds. Everything was very clean. TV was strictly streaming which created a few issues. Grounds were a little rough but that didn't really impact anything. Staff was friendly, and available. Breakfast was just ok but better than some I've seen. I would recommend staying here if you're needing a stop in Russell.

lobby and dining room are well maintained and very cozy feeling. The king bed room had water spots on ceiling, tub could use a good scrubbing and had hair in bottom, we didn't use. The rest of the room was clean enough. bed was comfortable. Breakfast was the best we experienced over the last 5 days at different facilities.
