Great stop after a long day of driving. Hotel was quiet and clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Gym was small but had enough for three of us to workout for a bit. Pool looked clean and refreshing but we didn't jump in. Excellent Mexican restaurant across the street and an DQ and A&W by the truck stop.

The air conditioner never stopped so it was freezing and we could not adjust it. We asked for extra blankets and they said no. The pull and hot tub were great and i everything was clean! Breakfast was very slim

We had a king room and it was very spacious. The hot tub is the reason that we book this hotel and it did not disappoint. The breakfast was nothing spectacular but had waffles, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, toast, bagels, juice and coffee. Our room had a mini fridge, small coffee maker, microwave, and safe in it. The room did not have carpeting and am assuming the room above did not either as there was a lot of noise from above. If you like a completely dark room to sleep, you will need to either unplug things or wear a mask. There was a lot of light coming in around the door frame. The bed was comfortable. The work out room was small but had an eliptical and a treadmill. The guy at check in was very friendly.

Hotel was comfortable. The floors in room could of been cleaner, and the bath tub. Parking lot was really dark. Not lit very well. There was a used bar of soap on tub shelf and half used tube of shampoo.

I’ve stayed at numerous Days Inn and this one was by far excellent in every respect! Staff, clean rooms, breakfast. 10 stars Days Inn Independence MO was the worst stay I have ever experienced. The manager is rude and unresponsive. Unclean rooms. -1 star
