This was a budget friendly room, the room was small but pleasant and had everything we needed, staff were friendly and Hayle has amazing beaches close by
staff were wonderful , think her name was Roxy so helpful advised what time food was served and how to operate TV shower Wifi within room , parking was simple and checkout simple would stay again as great location and wonderful food
Hayle is a great spot to base off to explore Cornwall. The provided parking was ideal and staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was with a weak WiFi at night, but i was at one end of the building. Overall, a great experience.
Very nice quaint Inn. Very welcoming staff, rooms were well cleaned and good sized with a nice bathroom. Great if you’re holidaying in the area

The pub had been run down, but there is a lot of poverty around in Cornwall. However, the owners had made an effort to improve the interior. Rooms and bar area had been tastefully upgraded, but the bedroom was tight for space. The staff were friendly and helpful, so it's okay for an overnight stay.
Room/bathroom smallish but nice and comfortable. Good, well priced food and beer. Free parking available.
However, breakfast not provided, Can be noisy at night (bar, sometimes with live music, below bedroom).
Clean room, wifi and parking available. Nice cafe right across the street. Home bargains and gas station close by.

The welcome was pleasant and the staff friendly
The room and facilities were as expected
We ordered food in the bar area that was edible but could have been visually so much better.
Friendly staff and locals we felt welcomed and was kept happy. Food on the pricey side but that is due to the quality of the food on offer justified the price.
Found the room well maintained and clean with basic facilities. Shower was always hot when we wanted a shower tea n coffee facilities provided and a TV which we didnt use.
Hayle is lovely with the nature reserve and beaches nearby. The Cornubia is near bus stops and I walked to the coast path and back via the harbour. Bar menu was good. Room is plain, spacious, clean and comfortable. Buses to St Ives, Penzance and Truro.

Staff were polite and helpful. Room was very dated and very small, but clean and comfortable.
However the loud music coming from the bar below our room went on until 11 pm so if you want a quiet restful place to stay DO NOT CONSIDER this location.
The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The staff we encountered were very helpful and polite. Sadly no chef so limited food availability. However I am told that this is a problem in many hotels and b and bs. I would happily stay again though as the room was lovely.

Room was clean and comfortable but quite basic. Did not like the bed against the wall, made access difficult.
The Room was very clean with a modern shower and coffee and tea facilities. The property was a little hard to find because of scaffolding around it. The Staff were very pleasant and helpful.. The food was exceptional with large servings. It was good to listen to the music on the Monday night. We only had 1 night there but will visit again when we are in the area.
Good location for us. Nice big spacious room, lovely shower.
We were over the garden/courtyard, there were people drinking and talking, didn't bother us or keep us awake. We were worried it might get too roudy, but not at all.
It's a pub and we liked you could come and go via the back stairs and didn't have to go through the pub.
They had music on, but the room we had was not bothered by it.
The first room that we were given was not up to standard, well my standards anyway. So the owner upgraded us to his best room. The room was a good size and everything seemed ok. Then we went into the bathroom . The toilet seat didn't fit and the toilet brush was filthy.
We decided that we weren't staying.
Asked to owner for 50% reduction as we weren't staying point blank refused. Taking it further with help from Citizen Advice.
If this is the standard of the best room's bathroom. Not recommended to stay here.

Our stay here was a mixed bag. I'll cover the positives first
Free parking
Good food
15 minute, easy drive to St Ives
Now the negatives
Stained walls all around the room, especially in the bathroom
Room was extremely hot - fan was provided but didn't make a huge difference
Some staff great and really helpful but some staff rude
Loud live music on until 12:15am. The band were great but not so good when we needed to wake up early to be at an event. Would have been nice to know about this beforehand as we likely would have booked somewhere else.
Was a struggle to park at times, but parking was free.
Overall this was a nice little pub, but not somewhere I would stay again.

Great pub food and ok rooms for a night
The dinner in the pub was amazing (try fish&chips with homemade chips on Fry-Day) and we had a fun evening playing pool and air hockey, whereas the room is mediocre (you pay what you get) with several flaws but ok for a night.
Our room (Nr. 3) was above the pub’s kitchen so that it was really hot I the room. We had a loud fan which didn’t really help and the windows didn’t stay open. The toilet seat is much too small for the toilet so that you sit on the cold porcelain.
The bed stands with one side against the wall such that one person has to crawl over the bed.
The room could definitely need renovation as for example the walls have many spots of spilled drinks or similar.
The staff was really nice and welcoming so that it was fine for one night (for that price).
Unfortunately it was tired and dirty. We were looking forward to staying here but were very disappointed. Didn't even unpack! Bed was clean and comfortable but room needed cleaning.was dusty, toilet seat didn't fit properly and there were cobwebs in our room 😒
