Could not even get the door unlocked for 10min. The smell from under the door worried us. After opening and not being able to remove key for another 5min we had a look in the room. Carpet torn up smelly and what we believe to be unwashed sheets. We left right away and went next door to a great little motel that was fantastic. I want a refund.

The rooms have been upgraded, and the property is clean and welcoming. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. If you are going to stay in Hay, there should be no other choice.

Small things matter

Tv remote didn't work. Had a family room and only had 1 coffee cup, no glasses. Lock on door didn't work properly. Only had very small amount of toilet paper. Beds were comfortable

Central to what I needed. Quiet in spite of road works going on outside. Very clean & warm. Quilts are very cosy. Pet friendly was my priority & this hotel is perfect. Thank you. Lovely friendly staff. My 2nd visit, I would return if in the area as it’s close to everything with good, free parking
